Just bought my son a 55 plate Jazz 1.4se sport as his first car. Bargain price of £500. However has the whining coming from the gearbox. Going to pop over to the tech forum to research this more. Glynn

Hi Glynn,

I believe this is known weakness, usually the input shaft bearing.
If you're handy with the spanners it doesn't look too bad to do???
