Testing for leaks ?

Just bought a Jazz,wondering if it`ll leak when it rains.Will the leaks into the boot show up with a hosepipe ?

Yes they should but you will need to remove the trim inside the rear of the boot to see.

Nothing shows with the hose,sounds like we`re in for thunderstorms later in the week ,so I`ll find out for sure hopefully !

Remove the plastic trims at the rear of the roof channels by lifting them gently near to the rear clip location with a taped screwdriver and sliding them off the locating lugs. Then get some black Sikaflex sealant and run it down the original sealant line in the channel and smooth it off with a sponge and white spirit. Refit the rails and it should be cured.
