first thoughts on my Jazz

I have had my 2011 EX for about 3 weeks and have done 500 miles, early days but I really am liking it, a nice ride and comfortable seats, and depending on the road surface I find it very quiet too, I need to get some mats before the winter but not sure if I should get rubber or carpet ones, can anyone tell me what and where they bought theirs, oh and I guess the sales guy told me but I cant remember where the wheel locking nut adaptor is, on my last Toyota it was just in the glove box but I cant seem to find it, overall I am a very happy Jazz owner.

With regards to the mats I would go for the rubber ones from Honda. I have bought mats from others but the genuine Honda ones are the ones to go for.

The wheel locking nut adaptor is located in the boot in the tool kit usually located in the boot well.

Jazzy b is right regarding the mats. I have Honda rubber ones and I am very pleased with them - although they are not cheap, something like £70+ for both pairs.

I got the "Jazz" carpet mats thrown in as part of the deal.

I went for the proper Honda rubber mats too and they are already proving their worth. They are like trays and catch all the mud, dirt and water and can just be emptied out. I paid £66 delivered from a proper Honda dealer on ebay and am really pleased with them.

On the strength of that I also went for the proper Honda 'rubber' boot mat but I'm not quite as satisfied with that. It's good but I think that some of the aftermarket fitted rubber mats might have worked just as well at less than half the price.

they got some nice carpet ones in morrisons for £12.95 a set i have had mine for 8 months now

I went for thick carpet mats shaped for my 1.4 Jazz ES from "carmats4you". They have a rubber type base and a life time guarantee.  You can choose different colours including the edging,   stitching and a sample in advance.

I chose anthracite, grey edging, and white stitching although a red edging might of suited my milano red Jazz better. Carpet might improve the sound proofing further. Not cheap though at £99.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions, the genuine Honda rubber
mats sound very good, if a little expensive, but if they protect
well, then they are worth it, thanks again, now where are those
wheel nut adaptors.

Did you check if it (there's normally only one) is with the spanner?

If you are quick then genuine rubber mats are on E bay from time to time.

The locking wheel nut socket should be within the blue tool roll in the wheel well - if not the number should be with the owners manual.
The dealer will be happy to help if  you have a problem

I went the cheap route in my GD http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Fully-Fitted-Car-Mats/_i.html?_nkw=jazz&submit=Search&_sid=57943649 at this price I can replace a couple of times but I never have done, previously company cars I had have used similar and doing over 100k miles they lasted well too, I will add I don't venture around muddy areas much.

adaptor, as for the mats well I haven't decided which ones
yet.
