Hi, I have just joined this forum to see if I can get a fix for an engine problem with my 2005 Jazz 1.2i petrol - it sounds as if I too have the dreaded issue of a faulty EGR valve, currently checking sources for a replacement. Symptoms; jerky running on very low throttle setting (1st gear in traffic-approx 1400rpm), flat-spot on tacho in neutral at 1400-1500rpm (revs drop approx 300-500rpm), engine seems to stall more often when maneuvering forwards or reverse, 15-20% increase in overall fuel consumption.
Would welcome any thoughts on my diagnosis.

Regards, Warrior193

Just read your post and have posted after you ("New mamber. A big thank you to you all!"..). I joined the forum today as I read the thread about the EGR problem and fixed mine in about 15 minutes. It's really simple to do - just follow what the others have posted in the thread recommended to you and you'll hopefully be enjoying your Jazz in no time! Good Luck!
