Hi Folks.

Just been to look at a 2004 CVT-7 for £3,995 with 66k on the clock. Very tidy car and smooth engine.

On test I noticed some mild juddering moving away from standstill so thought I would check out possible issues with drive-belt or whatever here before I committed.

Now I see that most juddering problems are down to the wrong transmission fluid, so I've asked the selling dealer if he will speak to the local Honda main dealer about a fluid flush and change, otherwise I am inclined to walk away.

It's a pity the CVT judder is an issue with this car as otherwise it seems pretty bombproof and owners clearly love it for its reliability and economy. However, I am trying to offload a French car that is not entirely reliable, so I don't want to buy more trouble!

Any thoughts/comments/advice appreciated.

Thanks to all.
