Major Technical Failuretocost customer £800+
« on: November 23, 2023, 05:36:46 PM »
Just seen this posting (attached posting picture) Honda are only reducing the cost by 50% for this catastrophic failure of the computerised management system.

Appalling and worrying

Putting aside the contradiction about the car’s model year and age, where does the “50%” come from? Not mentioned in the article, that says the garage is negotiating with Honda about the cost. Actually, if there is an offer of 50% for an out-of-warranty repair, maybe thst’s not a bad offer.

Second hand? Surely you don't order a car in 2019 and have it delivered in 2022?

There are no Jazz Mk4 2019, the first ones are 2020.
Three years warranty plus one year extra warranty bought means warranty till (at least beginning) 2024...

Moreover, a computer thing is not some part that should wear. It should be able to get to at least 10 years without troubles. So I suspect full warranty!
