I have copied & posted this from the HR-V forum.
I should add that I complained to the CEO of Aviva (as a shareholder) and received an obfuscated, 'smoke and mirrors' reply. which basically said that Aviva have their way of working out premiums as do LV and they a not necessarily the same and they could/would not alter their premium. Guess who I shall be going with for my HR-V e:HEV!
Interestingly the quotes from bot for my Karoq were pennies apart.
So obviously Aviva don't like green vehicles and I accused them of such!

If you want a laugh, try to insure your shiny new HR-V HEV with Aviva.
75 y.o. Full, clean, no accidents, full licence, 7k miles a year, 15+years NCB, fully comp, Insured with Aviva for many years, multiple discounts.......wait for it!......
£497 p.a!!!!
LV.......Same as above £249!!
P.S. I have Just been on line as a new customer £362. I telephoned Aviva and was told that both have shareholder discount applied which is the same as dual policy discount. The latter used to be 10% and the former20% so they are ripping off left right and centre. I have lodged an official complaint.
I thought insurance customers had been instructed not to rip off existing customers!!
