Headlight Replacement Honda Jazz 2005
« on: May 11, 2019, 10:03:54 PM »
Hi please can someone tell me how to access the bulb? I need to replace and it doesn’t look I can do from under the bonnet.
My car is 2005 and I believe it is a H4 type.
Many thanks

Access is via the wheel arch.  There's a plastic liner which un-clips easily. Unfortunately you probably need to jack it up and take the wheel off! That's one of the reasons when I do have to replace a headlight I'm going for LEDs.

A quick search should take you to plenty of posts.

Or is it? What do you think?

You can do it with full lock and unclipping the wheelarch liner, but I would strongly advise taking the wheel off as springswood suggests. I did one a month or two ago without removing the wheel, I'm usually pretty good with fiddly things, but you can't see a thing you are doing and you end up saying lots of naughty words.
