Title: Administrator help.
Post by: guest5079 on March 25, 2017, 11:45:00 AM
Sorry, Administrator but I am stuck here.
Last week, I tried to log in and although it has been set up to just do that, since becoming a member a message came up asking for user name and password. No matter what I tried nothing. Then quite by accident, when it required a user name, I inserted this and then clicked onto the user name prompt at the bottom and I was logged on. Now, when I came to log out I got a message to log out and then log in again. I can't log out.
Is it my end?

Hi auntyneddy

I am only a member sorry, but I think it is not you, or your pc.

It is more likely a server update (either hosting or database servers) which were been updated perhaps

This will happen from time to time, and the way to tell, is if logins work normally after say 30 minutes

I logged in from tapatalk on mobile, without issue, so if you try now, you should be able to login and put normally

I'm sorry if I am wrong

Many thanks

John

Hi, there has been no updates made to my knowledge and I suspect the hosting would normally carry out such tasks at night when demand is lower unless it's an emergency.

Thank you for getting back to me. After  a lot of thought, I remembered that I had tried to download a programme which was not successful. This am I have done a system restore and now my password etc is fine.
Sorry for the panic but the whole thing was weird. I shall be doing further investigations.
.
Once again sorry for the panic and thank you.
