anyone else gets a louder than normal click from the a/c compressor for the first time it starts up that day (mostly if the car is left for a couple of days or more) and then goes normal click for the rest of the time

I've noticed a click noise when my AC is on aswell. figured this was normal and never really thought about it. Mine is usually the same loudness, this normal?

yes its normal when cycling to have the click
i sometimes just get a louder than usual click when i turn it on for the first time usually after leaving the car for a couple of days or so

Ahhh good to know! Do you also get like a metal fan noise coming from the blowers when the AC is on? Hard to explain exactly the noise, but it's intermittent also, probably during the ac cylc.e

no i just get normal fan noise nothing out of the ordinary

Normal noise coming from the electromagnetic clutch of the scroll compressor.
This is an old-style solution, cheaper than variable displacement compressor of other european cars as Clio, Polo, Fiesta, more comfortable than the on-off compressor of Jazz and other japanese small cars.
