Hi from france
« on: June 04, 2020, 11:43:53 AM »
Hello club jazz members (I can't help but think of the fast show when writing that)

I have a 2014 jazz that I imported from the UK and have registered in france without a hitch. I have a technical question which I am hoping someone can help me with, I will post in the relevant section.

Lol....made me smile I remember the Jazz club on the Fast Show.
Welcome to the forum, I'm also a new member, it does seem to be an active forum so hopefully you'll get your answer.
It will be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end !

Welcome to the forum  8)

France is a beautiful part of the world, we contemplated moving there permanently once upon a time.

Is your Jazz a UK spec, RHD?

Hi, yes uk spec rhd.

Strangely enough it's the first time we never needed the eucoc for re registration even though the vehicle is very definitely uk spec. I.e not simply just Rhd!

Hi, yes uk spec rhd.

Always find it strange driving RHD on right hand side of road, no visibility for overtaking, also ticket / toll machine on the wrong side ( although electronics may have helped with that ).
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Well, we have both so its not really an issue as such.

Secondhand vehicles are so much cheaper in the UK, typically half the price @same age and mileage, unless you really need lhd, a UK purchase is a no brainer
