Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Crosstar Mudflaps
« Last post by JB on April 20, 2025, 11:11:12 PM »My 2023 seems to have very small mudflaps fitted front and rear and they look like an original fit from the factory to meBest one's to have small one's, large one's eventually get caught on kerb edge [parked cars speed humps etc] ripped off causing damage to bodywork, I was going to have them fitted then decided against it for above reasons.
They are not very big at all but probably enough to stop a lot of rubbish being thrown up onto the bodywork

« Last post by Tombola on April 20, 2025, 08:30:55 PM »My EX came with them as standard, and I am sure they are the same fit for the Crosstar. Thanks Nick, I have a set of those which I have removed from my current Advance and they look nothing like the ones offered on ebay probably due to the plastic mouldings on the Crosstar but I will try them when I take delivery in 10 days

« Last post by Tombola on April 20, 2025, 07:21:22 PM »My 2023 seems to have very small mudflaps fitted front and rear and they look like an original fit from the factory to meThanks Bev, I fitted genuine Honda mudflaps to my Jazz purely for cosmetic reasons, they look good and do stop a bit of road crud, I have ordered a Crosstar so just wondered if anyone has fitted mudflaps, the ones on ebay are probably aftermarket judging by the price so might be worth a gamble

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Air Con problem
« Last post by Lord Voltermore on April 20, 2025, 05:41:51 PM »I sometimes see people referring to having their gas topped up. If the gas is low, there is a leak. (Aircon gas going into the atmosphere is bad.) Topping up is not the answer. The leak need to be addressed before the top up.
I think there is a slow rate of leakage through rubber seals etc that is considered normal and inevitable. But its slow , maybe less than 5 % pressure loss per year and might need topping up after say 10 years. In this case a top up is acceptable but I believe air con experts have a legal obligation to find and fix leaks if leakage becomes too excessive, not just top it up. Even if that's what the owner wants. I dont know when leakage becomes excessive but I think if it needs topping up every year it needs fixing.
