airco issue
« on: November 02, 2024, 09:26:36 PM »
Hi all,
I have a Jazz 2012 second hand since last year with very low mileage. From the start encountered performance issue with airco on "auto" . Every half minute sound like scraping belt appears, headlights dimm and performance drops. All for a couple of seconds. Honda dealer said it is normal. I strongly doubt the engineers at Honda were so stupid to accept this flaw as normal. Anyone suggestions on what is going on?
Airco is functioning normal, it cools sufficiently.
😊

I have had a couple of Jazz,

A 61 plate and a 15 plate, in both cases the aircon fan comes on very quickly after starting,

And also in driving, you can notice the lights dim when the fan activates

But it is fairly quiet doing it

Ask your local used car dealers who they send air con faults to , you better getting a/c diagnosis by specialist than attempt to ask dealers to find the fault. Around here most won't look at anything older than  4 yr+ vehicles . .
