Removing roof rails
« on: October 23, 2021, 10:32:13 PM »
I make a mistake opting for a Crosstar.  I discovered the usable section of the roof rails is too short and too far back to take roof bars for my canoe.  I have assumed the model is just a standard Jazz with the normal black plastic inlay replaced with the roof rails.
Does anyone know if this is true?

Anyway, the dealer said talk to UK customer service who told me any technical stuff is dealt with by the dealers.  Neither seems to know if the roof rails can be replaced.  The dealer 'helpfully' said no problem removing the roof rails but I'd have to drive around with holes in my roof.... :'(   (lovin' that customer service once the sale is made)

Any info on how to get ride of these pointless accessories welcome.
