Car alarm saga
« on: October 02, 2024, 05:37:08 PM »
Hi,
The problem continues, dealer diagnosed faulty boot switch which they replaced, a few days later the problem returned, I wondered if when I fitted the dash cam rear camera if I had damaged the wiring where it passes through a grommet so I checked and repositioned it and for a number of weeks it has been ok. Yesterday it wouldn't lock with the remote but ok with the key, unlocked with remote ok then started working again, later it started beeping again. Today I rechecked the wiring and taped it up, ok for a few hours then beeping again. Has anyone had the alarm removed or replaced as it's driving me knuts, car is 2011 jazz CVT
