Wheel trims
« on: October 05, 2024, 07:39:25 PM »
I removed the wheel trims and I am very pleased with the result, got a set of centre caps from ebay, good fit and look OK, with the wheels off I sprayed GT85 teflon on suspension and everything I could get at (not brake discs), applied a thin smear of grease on the hub/ wheel mating surface

Yuki, I have tried to post photos but the file size is too big, I will try again, GT85 Teflon spray is a rust preventative similar to, but I think better than WD40 which I use frequently on suspension area, door hinges/locks, battery terminals/ earthing points under the bonnet and folding door mirrors where they swivel

GT 85 used to be the go to spray for bike chains etc.

Thanks good to know.
I was using Bilt Hamber Ferrosol in my previous car (Mazda 2) for the same purpose
