Title: Pre-flight check
Post by: Kremmen on September 17, 2021, 05:57:16 PM
My main gripe is RDMS and I have a reminder to turn it off.

What I am noticing is the amount of time it takes to get to the setting.

This morning, jumped in, belt on, foot on brake, power up. I was then confronted with the seat belt graphic showing that I was belted up with the green symbol and it must have been a good 3 minutes before I could press the knee level button and get the Honda sensing graphic to display.

Is there a quicker way to cancel the seat belt graphic ?

Without looking, but I expect pressing the home button will dismiss seatbelt info. It will indicate at the bottom of the screen, there will be words if warning message are turned on. Otherwise just the home icon.

Thanks, I'll check in the morning (Sun) but I'm sure I pressed that along with the wheel.

Maybe not .......

I’d somehow managed to turn off the text messages on mine until I restored them.

I think the setting was ‘display warning messages’ - so I thought this would get rid of the startup message on the infotainment screen.

Turning them back on made it much easier, all I had were icons before for the various modes too.

All sorted, thanks

Activated the text message to accompany the icon, all makes sense now :)
