What's happened to the upcoming birthdays?

I know we tend to have an older demographic on here, but i didn't think we had so many of such a ripe old age!  :o

It looks like a bug when the birthday field is left empty, I've just added a fake birthday due in the next days to my profile and the problem has gone away.
