I just downloaded the brochure from the Honda website and "Rear View Camera" is listed for EX grade/Crosstar

The brochures usually have a disclaimer about spec sadly - sometimes the cars pictured can’t even be ordered in the UK :( it will probably be on the last page in small letters.

There have been a few people who ordered a new car based on the brochures and then found missing items when they collected the car.

The dealer I’ve been speaking to says 100% the reversing camera is still included, but i think anyone configuring a new car, where it says it isn’t, should double-check just to be safe.

I’d heard people buying expensive brand new Land Rover products aren’t getting nice digital dashboards now like many cars (including the Jazz) and are instead getting dashboards with ‘old fashioned’ dials due to the chip shortage.

On a lot of brand new Volvo models , they don’t get blind spot monitoring currently - again something we have on Jazz.

Digital Gauges – French carmaker Peugeot replaced the digital gauges in the Peugeot 308 hatchback with old-school analog speedometers. This is the only model affected.

There are a lot of disappointed new owners of Land Rovers without 360 cameras and digital displays that were included in the spec and price but not getting any savings as in the small print of the orders JLR have the right to change the spec at any time - the only recourse is they can reject the car and get their deposit back. Dealers want the rejection as they can sell the car now without any discounts that they may have agreed before the chip issue. In my case, my 9 month old Velar is worth more than I paid last May ! New cars normally drop by up to 20% once owned

Whilst at my dealers yesterday I asked this question and was told that this was a website error and the cameras remain standard equipment on Crosstar and EX models. I later checked the website and it has now been corrected.

I know!!! My 26 month old Peugot 2008 lost £250 in value on the trade in and I got that cheap because they were "running off" the old style model. There has never been a better time to buy a new car. That said due to lockdown the Peugot only had 8 k miles on the clock.
