Phoenix Close Honda Specialists Manchester
« on: July 11, 2012, 01:51:11 PM »
Phoenix Close Honda Specialists is a new garage located in Heywood near Manchester. After working at Honda main dealerships for 9 years I've decided to open an independent Honda specialist aimed at providing people with a dealership standard service without the dealership costs.

I completed the Honda apprenticeship program in 2006 and have been working on the Honda vehicles since 2002. Whilst at the Honda main dealers I gained a vast amount of experience in both diagnosing and maintaining the Honda product.

I thought this would be a good place to advertise and meet both new cusomers and fellow Honda enthusiasts.

Check out the website and let me know what you guys think

Thanks,

Chris.

Just a little update regarding brake discs and pads.

Genuine Honda discs and pads fitted prices :-

Front £190

Rear £180

This covers all models from 2002 to 2008.

Honda Dealers charge £250 for front and the same for the rears.

Hope this helps guys and girls.

Chris.

Just trying to be a bit pc, but I don't think the bikini clad babe poster should be on your web site. It kind of gives the impression that you may be a bit male chauvenist, and reduce your client base.

Just my humble opinion.

Totally agree with you, the pics were put up by the chap who made the site. All the images are set to change, I want pics of my actual garage and not just random generic pics.

I'm not a male chauvinist in the slightest. 70% of people who come to the garage are female.

I see war your saying though and appreciate the feedback, thank you.

Chris.

I don't know many women who are offended by garage babe calendars - it seems to be the 'do gooders' of this world who take it upon themselves to be offended for them !  - my wife has a 'fireman' calendar (not entirely in uniform either, anything but) in our kitchen and also similar one at work, would you call her a female chauvinist ?  I wouldn't - when we stop admiring beautiful things because some people tell us they are offensive to certain people, why not ask the people who are supposed to be offended,  the answers are often very surprising.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Didn't say it shouldn't be in the workshop, but just suggested that it shouldn't be on the website.  :)

Personally I have no objection, I am just viewing the website as a business advert, and as such don't think such posters enhance a professional image.

Floor looks spotless in the picture, like I could eat my lunch off it.  Pity I live so far away...
