So we have signed an OTP and paid the deposit for this on Saturday.

So today the spending started. When we bought the car, we managed to get 2 new tires in the deal. The other 2 still had tread. But they are Duran tires. Now I have never heard of these. So today i had 2 tires fitted to match the others. Fitted Yokohama Bluearths in a size of 175/65/15

Then I stopped at Honda to get some parts for the service. It has full service history but it's been 11000 km since the last service. I checked and the air filter was dirty, the oil is dirty, and the cabin filter is dirty. So today 1 x oil filter, 1 x air filter, 1 x cabin filter, 1 x sump washer = R1300. I will be doing the service in the morning. Also got a price on a new key, R2800.

So After the 2110 KM's the Consumption was 6.3 Litres/100km. Which is not too bad. Sat at about 130kph most of the way. the first half sat at just under 140kph :) where possible. This is also with a fully loaded car, could not see out the back window. And luckily we had this car as we ended up bringing back 2 x old antique wooden tables which we would have never fitted in the BMW.
