Goodbye Jazz Mk2
« on: January 16, 2018, 08:21:35 PM »
After 7.5 years of almost trouble free motoring I have finally parted with my Mk2 Jazz. From new I had covered over 111096 miles, using 2424 gallons of petrol returning almost 46 mpg. The car had been dealership maintained and serviced every 12.5K miles - consumables have included 12 tyres, 4 sets of brake pads plus discs front and rear, several wiper blades and a handful of bulbs. The car let me down once with a dead battery that needed replacing at 80K miles. I can’t say I preferred my Mk2 over my previous Mk1 Jazz, my biggest niggles have been with the interior thinking it inferior to the previous model but that’s a personal opinion. Initially I had doubts about the VTEC engine but I came to really like it and it ended up being marginally more fuel efficient than the i-DSI. First impressions of my new Mk3 Jazz is that I like it.  :)
