« on: September 26, 2012, 05:27:34 PM »
To be powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-charged engine.

Baby SUV to appear in 2013, likely to be based on the Jazz.

I can't wait to see how this new engine develops.
I've read that the 1.6 turbo that they are developing for their WTCC car will produce around 300bhp.
Hopefully they should be able to make a de-tuned road going version that puts out around 220bhp+.

The next Civic Type-R will be powered by a 300bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, with the RenaultSport Megane 265 as the benchmark:

Honda seem keen for the next Civic Type R to set the fastest ever lap around the Nurburgring in Germany for a front wheel drive car:

Power now said to be between 265 and 300bhp. Not so long ago someone said 220bhp was the most a FWD car could handle.

Quite a feat if it were to beat the Megane around the ring.

would be a great looking car without that horrible black 'apron' at the front,  and I hope they get rid of the ugly 'American' rear lights as well.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

2.0-litre direct injection turbo with 280bhp but no word on the gearbox (manual? Dual-clutch? Paddleshift?):
