Interesting to read the Rover 75 topped the table for ride quality, a car that has been out of production for over six years.

Some real mix of cars and ages in that survey.

Found this quite interesting. I've been driving a few Hyundai's in my wait for a refund on my old Getz. i20, in both mine and my brother's opinion was probably the worst car we drove. The i30 was a bit better but of the new Hyundai's the i10 was probably my favourite in all respects. Not sure how the i10 beat the old, let alone the new Jazz. It's only an old 3-cylinder Chrysler engine, nippy but rough. It has ISG - Ignition Stop Go which is infuriating as you haver to remember to turn it off when you start the car as.it switches the engine off everytime you stop like some MINI's.

However when it's off the clutch is quite juddery almost like it doesn't want to be switched off. It's also a very top heavy car and when cornering you can feel like the car will tip over.

I'm stunned it's up there and the Jazz's are lower and the Yaris is even lower still.

Sorry for baffling but wasn't overly impressed with the i10.

Forgot to say the leg room in the front was ok but narrow with narrow doors. Leg room in the back I was told was passable. The boot was small with no boot light. Wheel span very easily in the wet. Angle of the gear knob nice as it was set high.

Would not have put this car in the league of the Jazz, new or old both of which I've driven, or the new Yaris.

I found that baffling too, because if i was choosing a smallish car it would be a jazz as 1st choice and yaris as a second....   ;D

I didn't know the i10 had a Chrysler engine; I thought Hyundai developed their own these days? (they used Mitsubishi engines years ago)

As far as I am aware Richard, it's a 3 cylinder Chrysler engine though I am prepared to stand corrected if what I have been told is wrong.
