CarPlay -> GoogleMaps -> turn by turn directions do not show on driver's display

Hi,
I connected my iPhone to my Jazz (Elegance/SE - no factory navigation) and started Google Maps. Got voice directions through the audio system but no turn by turn directions on the driver's display. I only saw my device name on the display (to be exact my device's name and "cancel" options were shown) while the audio direction played...
In car settings I have turn by turn directions enabled so what may be the problem?

This only works with the Honda Garmin factory nav.

It works for me with Waze and Android Auto. Turn by turn directions are shown on driver's display. I've haven't set or changed anything. May be someone else can confirm whether this works also with CarPlay.

With Carplay it only give turn by turn when using Apple Map. I presume its politics and controlled by Apple.

Thanks, I will try with navigations other than Google Maps. :-) This may be the cause.
