What does this mean?

In addition, the linear shift control has been revised to give the petrol engine a new, higher shift point of 6,300rpm.

So would this be what I get, I ordered a new Crosstar a week ago or will they be flogging old stock that’s been sat at a port for 6 months?

That you only will go airborne at 6,300 rpm.?  :P

Oh... and maybe they've now thought about passenger seat height adjustment (Mrs Jazziks' only complaint about our Jazz)?

Sounds like they've twigged:

Utilizing a wider angle, higher-definition camera enables improved awareness of vehicle surroundings, including recognition of verges without kerbs or roadside markings, whilst the active safety systems have been revised to reduce their intrusion on everyday driving.

What's this?
The automatic CVT transmission has also been revised and Honda claims it has improved “smoothness and driveability to deliver a more engaging driving experience”.
And why does it have a bl**dy big gear lever?

Is that just to make it "look" sporty?

Talking about a CVT transmission tells you everything you need to know about the so called "experts" at AutoExpress - or most of these magazines too.

Honda sharpens the transmission, with the result that the Jazz shifts smoother according to its creators.

Be very interested to read the first road tests of the new power train and how it reacts, and sounds, under power. Also if the annoying ‘safety’ lane departure warnings etc. have been properly sorted.

Shifts What? There is nothing to shift, no gear change, nothing!
So much for ‘experts’  :(

I think I see what the problem is. the Jazz shifts smoother according to its creators. (my underline). Honda makes the Jazz in a CVT ICE version in some markets and the "experts" have taken a quote about the non-hybrid version and being as thick as mince, used it here.

I'm finding my Jazz perfectly smooth now so why was an improvement deemed necessary

6300rpm ! It's a Jazz not a Lambo. Sounds like they've tried to entice the boy racers who frequently use the electric/engine combination at the lights

The front end looks good though and if those wheels are alloy with no covers then that's a good move

Let's be careful out there !
