The Jazz will learn your driving style and maybe keep the revs even lower. I drove both a 1.3 CVT (2017) and a 1.5 CVT (2019) and both had this. They would come off the mark very slowly, except when flooring it.
I would sometimes use 3/4 of the pedal to get off the mark, but lift it slightly when reaching 2.500 or 3.000 rpm. That would, at least for my driving, provide just enough gut. The car will notice you want a decent acceleration, but you do not want too much revs.
Also, I had to go back to the dealer to fix a small bug in my 1.5: maximum power would be at 6.600 (the specs said so), but no matter what I did (D, S, manual mode, flooring it hard) the CVT wouldn't let it pass 6.000 rpm. After a reset, it would go to 6.600 and full power was available.
I did not experience much difference between 1.3 and 1.5 in normal driving. At higher speeds, the 1.5 would use lower revs and it also was much stronger above 4.000 rpm. Also interesting: the 1.5 was limited to 190 kmph (118mph). On the German Autobahn (only tried it once or twice) the 1.3 would stay at 6.200 rpm, while the 1.5 would drop to a mere 4.000 at this limit. The 1.5 was more economic above 70 mph.
