Help for a newbie
« on: October 10, 2022, 12:46:46 AM »
Just got a pretty good Honda Jazz GD1 2004 1.4 LS :)
1. Found a couple of tutorials online on how to add aux, but I wonder , since I already own a decent 1 din unit, how possible is to somehow replace its head unit with 1 din universal...
2. I also noticed that the rear door speakers are dead... do they exist in this trim?
3. What drivers can I add in all 4 locations?
4. How much current can I get from a lighter socket? I recon 10a (fuse limit), but I might be wrong...

Please recommend topics if already answered, the forum seems pretty hard to search, or just plainly answer with any resource that might be beneficial :)

Thanks!

My GD5 has no speakers in the rear doors. I have happily run a tyre compressor from the Aux socket with no issues.

Thanks! That makes sense :) They skipped a lot of things in the early versions...  I hope you made a type regarding running a compressor from aux :) ;) ;)
Things are crazy at work at the moment, I just can't get a weekend off to put some time into checking it on my own :(

A tyre compressor - a compressor for blowing up tyres.
