Passenger doors locked !!!

Hi. This was odd. When I got back from the MOT (Pass of course!) I found I could only open the drivers door. After much clicking of the fob I got it all working. The only thing i have done differently recently was manually lock the car on an overnight ferry.
I assume the alarm isn't then armed.
Anyone have an idea what happened and why? Also is there a correct procedure to get the doors all unlocked if it happens again?

Can't help other than say when we had our 2003 CRV it didn't like to be locked by the key and opened with the remote or visa versa...

I cant help much either  other than to say on some cars  you use the manual key in the drivers door to initiate a sequence that allows the key to relearn / re programme its transmitter codes.

Maybe the tester, unfamiliar with the keys  and car  might have inadvertently initiated something  that required the reset. 

There may be something in the owners manual ,in an area many owners ignore, about such magic tricks with the keys or central locking system.  .
