Satnav voice
« on: October 11, 2023, 11:38:24 PM »
Well, finding it a steep learning curve to customise settings.  Still a work in progress.  However, can't find a way to silence the Satnav voice.  Manual suggests there should be an onscreen icon but can't find it.  Previous Jazz could be silenced. Its causing ructions whilst driving.... Any advice oh gurus please?

There are 2 audio settings

One for main audio and one for Satnav

General, System, System Volumes
Let's be careful out there !

There is a X on a coloured circle on the left hand side, I think, just tap that to cancel the current route

I've become fixated on the fact the 'British' voice says " Rye Turn" instead of  'right turn'  Now you will be too.  ;D

And the British Voice trying to say some long road names  such as 'ulitsa Kneza Ljudevita Posavskog '  is truly comical .  No offence intended to Speakers of Serbo-Croat. The road is in Kutina, Croatia

Confession time.  i once amused myself by  changing the name of a couple of waypoints so the 'Voice' said something rude.    "arriving at  *****   on the right"   That was with a garmin stand alone .Not tried it with the  Jazz. I'm now too mature for such infantile amusements . My wife already was.     :-[ :P

Just love the instructions, for exiting the M66, at junction 1, for “Ramsbottom”.

It’s a sheep-shearers delight, with emphasis, on the second half of the village name.
