I had a call from Horizon Honda SM this afternoon.
My HR-V expected with them on the 10th January. +or-.
So I should be able to pick it up a couple of days later. :D
Exactly 5 months wait! :o

Excellent news!  I am 99% certain that mine is onboard  the Galveston Highway, expected at Portbury on 9th January. Not sure how long it will then take to be processed through the Honda system and be delivered to Listers though. I am looking forward to reading your reports in due course.

Great news - I think we are all waiting for your reports on living with the HR-V on a day-to-day basis.

Ha ha. But I meant for some grumpy person to moan about another HR-V post in the Jazz forum.

Hope you enjoy the car, keen to hear feedback as it is on my shortlist.

Thank you Richard.
You confirm my point!
Many people here are interested in the HR-V. Either like you, considering buying one or others simply 'Hybrid heads' (as opposed to petrolheads ;D) who are interested in the advance of hybrid technology. The HR-V is more advanced, up to date, tech-wise than the MkIV Jazz.
I cannot understand why the detractors, keep banging on about the HR-V. If they don't like it/not interested, the answer is simple......DON'T LOOK at the threads!!!

The VW Golf and Skoda Fabia were on my shortlist too but I didn't expect to see information about either of them on here.  In other news I'm setting off shortly to collect my new my new Crosstar but oddly enough I DID expect to find posts for that on here.

Not grumpy at all, just puzzled.

...Not much shared between a Golf/Fabia and a Jazz/HRV so not surprising really ;)
No need for the puzzled state now :D
