One of the appealing features of the 2020 Jazz is that there are so few service items. It's a hybrid so brake wear should be very low, and the engine doesn't have an auxiliary belt to wear out.

According to the service schedule, Assuming 10k miles driven per year over 5 years, it's entirely possible that the dealer will have only replaced the engine oil & filter, air filter and pollen filter.

I wouldn't be surprised if it costs the dealership more money to clean the interior than to actually service the mechanicals.

Then again, four services at a cheap independent wouldn't be significantly cheaper (i.e not less than half the price) and they probably wouldn't clean the interior for you either.

I got the 5 year service plan back in Nov 2021 for New Zealand $1,500
Cost of first service in Nov 2022 was $470 as inflation had hit New Zealand.
5 Year service plan is now quoted at $2,200
Very glad I took it out as inflation is still continuing high here at 7.4%, but I understand it is higher in the UK because of electricity and gas price rises (NZ get 70% of electricity from hydroelectic dams).

This services plan is that including every year or 10k km periodic maintenance?
Cheers!

It's an annual service, not done on mileage

Mine is neither annual or mileage - it's a specific number of services within a certain time limit. (Discovered this after I bought it and read the Ts&Cs.)

In NL the 5-year service plan was also limited to 100,000 kilometers. Back in 2019 I bought it for my Mk3. It was € 777,- for 5 years and included 20,000, 40,000, 60,000, 80,000 and 100,000 km services (or annually, whatever came first). It was a bargain, since just 1 service would be around € 250 to 300.
For the Mk4 it wasn't on offer any more.

From user manual.
It's says you have to go services every year or 12.5k miles
Also change your oil every year or 6k miles

Turkish manual also say every 20k km or every year go to services
Also change your oil every 10k km or every year.

But dealership says every 10k km or year come to services or warranty off.

Cheers!

...Sounds like a con. For these sorts of cars a year/12.5K miles should be fine surely?

I'm not against authorized services. Our life depend on that car. I believe everybody should go authorized services.
Ok let's go every year ok I get it that's fine but you are not doing anything ( again speaking about Turkish services). Just changing filters and oil and here it's ready.
I can buy this filters and oil from online half price even more cheaper and more quality also can change it myself.
But they don't accept that because they are selling 5$ filters for 25$ and absurd workmanship price.

Yeah it is a con!
Cheers!

As others have said, the 5 year service plan was offered 'free' when I brought my Mk4 Jazz in April 21, provided I used Honda Finance.
I subsequently paid off the loan after 6 months, so the actual cost of the service plan was only 6 months interest, which was peanuts, compared with the advertised price of the service plan, a no-brainer really.

My 6 month payoff is in March. Am I correct that the interest will be something around £100?
And do you close through the dealer or phone the finance dept direct?
