Google Maps
« on: August 14, 2022, 01:00:56 PM »
I was impressed this morning when streaming Google Maps via Android Auto on the headunit, in satellite view, that all the fields on both sides of the M4 were light brown.

I wonder how frequently they update the satellite mapping ?
Let's be careful out there !

Probably when there is a break in the cloud cover.  So not often in the uk   ;D
I've seen satellite maps which were a patchwork of obvious High summer , and snowscapes .  Next week they may be  grey from wildfires.   :(

They like to show "interesting things" even if they are just there for a day or two.

The Lincoln April fair can be seen under construction in 3D, likewise the Tewkesbury medieval fair used to be shown.
