Jazz Hybrid soft high continuous beep

Hi, I am new here, as I am considering to buy a Jazz Hybrid 2012. But I have one doubt.
During the test-drive, I heard a soft high continues tone. Like a continuous beep.
According the seller, this is normal when the battery of the hybrid system is being charged.

Does anyone recognise this ? Is this really normal and due to charging the battery ?
