At the moment I've hardly used the car. Still not done 200 miles yet.

Before I had mudflaps I had lots of side damage due to some UK counties repairing roads and finishing them off with 'loose chippings' --- hello Worcestershire !

Mudflaps also prevent the unsightly brown trail behind both wheels.

Again, another owner preference.

Isn't the bit that needs cutting plastic, not metal ?

I wonder if the idea of this fixing is to protect the car's plastic bumper in the event of the mudflap being ripped off by an obstacle.

I prefer to keep our Jazz clean this way instead of this way...

Hello,
I bought the splash guards, but in the package I did not find the sheet with the assembly instructions, only the 4 splash guards and the screws (I hope they are all there, I have not checked yet),
Wouldn't you be kind enough to email me a copy of the assembly instructions or even put them here on the site?
Thanks for your help.
(sorry for the mistakes I used google translate)

No instructions in my kit either. That PDF shows what to do. I haven't been brave enough to attempt to do it yet!

Hello,
I don't understand why they didn't put the instructions,
however if I had seen the post of "Steve m" before I would not have bought the accessory, I thought that it was enough to put some screws, I did not believe that it was even necessary to remove the bumper,
surely the work will have to be done in the workshop, I don't think about doing it myself.
Surely it will cost a lot because I imagine that at least 2 hours of work will be there.
And then I have to hope that they know how to do everything, I have no idea if they have ever fitted original mud flaps in the workshop.
Obviously I will have the job done in the authorized Honda workshop

The Honda mudflaps supply and fit price is £155.

The Cox flaps price is £58 reduced from £68

Let's be careful out there !

Unfortunately, the work really costs a lot
next week I'm going to ask when they can fit them.
I paid 85 euros for the splash guards

Hi, today I had the mud flaps fitted at the Honda workshop and I was surprised at what happened,
I left the car in the workshop for about 40 minutes or 1 hour,
when I came back the work was already done,
and when I asked for the cost of the assembly, they replied "nothing for so little", of course I thanked them and went home.
Now I have a doubt, but is the work to be done really what "Steve_M" had posted?
disassemble the bumper and do not know what other things?
It makes me think that they only pierced and attached the splash guards, I don't know what to think, the job seems to have been done well,
but also for free with the disassembly of the bumper and in any case 1 hour of work?
Or is the work really so simple (obviously for those who have equipment and do that professionally)?
What do you think?
Thanks for your opinions

Was the fitting included in the cost of the mudflaps? Surely you didn't provide the mudflaps and they fitted them free!

Hello,
no, the price was not included, I just bought the pieces and I thought I'd assemble them myself,
then when I saw the guide who also talked about removing the bumper I left everything alone and I thought of having them fitted to them.
so I don't know what to think

So, let me get this straight: You took the mudflaps to your dealer and they fitted them free?

Where do you live, I may need to visit your dealer?

Y es that's right, however I had always bought splash guards from them.
I live in Italy, maybe it's out of the way  :D

If they are used to removing bumpers (and it's not your own car...) it would be quick to remove bumper.
But the cuts are to allow a nut clip to be attached to the bumper plastic work rather than the metal flange behind it.
It would be quicker and more obvious to drill and use self tapper, or to use a self piercing screw.
The rear flaps on mine are attached to plastic as there is give if you grab them.
You could check to see how secure they feel.

Not sure  of  the benefit, as  the cut edges of the cut out s are as likely to that as using a self tapping screw.
