This place near to me looks good.  Not too far from Bradford.

AH!  I think this may confirm my suspicion  about the wheels on my 2024 advance.  This has silver highlights on black/anthracite alloy  with the plastic 'fan' trims in anthracite rather than  silver as  on the EX.

The silver ,although bright and shiny, doesnt  look quite right for being diamond cut alloy.  I thought at first it might be some sort of  precut silver sticker  applied to the alloy.  But the transition  between anthracite  and silver ,seems to blend together precisely with no obvious sign of one colour being applied before or after the other or it being a sticker..  Difficult to describe.   So maybe it is diamond cut after all   :-\

Did the wheel company say they would not be able to do the job because its not diamond cut? Maybe they lack the painting skill required? Or experience of this type of wheel to guarantee  a satisfactory job.

I would be interested to know if it is a special paint finish whether its more difficult  or easier   to repair than diamond cutting the alloy again to remove damage.  Which may not be possible if the damage is too deep, but may be viable  if its a coated finish.

I went to crystal  alloys.  They do a lot of real diamond cut. He thinks the ' silver ' bit has a finish on it which dulls it. True diamond cut are really bright silver.
He has tried to mix a paint to blend. It's OK but I think honda should detail the finish as information
