Radio Issues
« on: May 27, 2022, 04:23:56 PM »
Hey guys,

I have a 2004 Honda Jazz and the radio has previously been playing up sometimes (screen was pixelated, track buttons stopped working etc). I had a quick look online and a common fault is the IC503 voltage regulator that burns out.

However funnily enough, was driving today and the radio worked perfectly!

Any ideas as to why its playing up?

Cheers.  :)

I cannot help you but I can tell you that when the regulator goes the radio won't play but the CD will as will anything connected to the Aux socket. It doesn't affect the screen or the buttons. Mine popped its clogs a couple of years back and I never bothered to fix it.
