Front brakes seized on during 4 mile trip

I have a 2005 1.4 se jazz .Both front brakes locked on after about 4 miles managed get to freinds house and called rac they are going to take it to honda dealer in chelmsford .Both fronts were very hot and power was redused due to this binding . I could uderstand if one brake was binding as poss caliper ,but both ? Any ideas?

I am thinking its either that the calipers are seized, but as you say for both to seize simultaniously is unlikely. However the brake master cylinder may have seized, stopping the brake fluid from returning to the master cylinder and keeping the brakes applied.
