I thought I would share this in case there is anyone else had the same problem as me that the headrest was too far from the head. I managed to get a used Jazz rear headrest cheap of Ebay, this when turned around fits snuggle against the front headrest. I cut the fixing legs off which are soft to cut and attached with a suitcase luggage strap and hey presto (a grey strap would look better though).
This now gives me about an inch from the back of my head to the rest, not only safer if rear ended but comfy to rest against. I thought this was a tidier solution then the after market headrest extensions I saw online and as it turns out much cheaper as the whole thing come in under a tenner.
