March 2004,Met Blue - Paint flaking off both rear view mirror post/door fitting.

Hi

Has anyone expierianced above?

Is this just this colour?

I am resident in Jersey so I am wondering if it is due to the area (sea salt?) or does this happen elsewhere on the UK mainland? I have seen many other Jazzes (?!) on the island with the same problem and same colour - maybe an issue with this colour?

My car is in very good condition apart from the plastic parts between the door and rear view mirror - seems a pity as this is such a good reliable car, to be let down by flaking paint!

Any hints/tips, will Honda replace this f.o.c.?
