Nothing in D
« on: November 15, 2020, 03:47:24 AM »
So, my car is in the garage...I only got it 1 month ago, so under warranty I am getting the rear brakes and tie rod fixed. However, the garage is very much like the 2nd hand car dealers Portrayed in the media... and he had it for a week before saying it could be collected. However, on going there he has stated that the test drive didn’t go to plan, and now the car won’t drive forward! Reverse is fine.

He has explained this to me - that the automatic gear shift connects with reverse and then with neutral, but then fails to engage when stitched to drive.

He’s had the car for another week now...he thinks it’s an easy fix, but he’s had the car longer (nearly than I have!). Any ideas why it would be doing that, and how to fix it?

Bit confused, your other poll thread says it's got a judder pulling away?

If it won't go forwards, that doesn't sound like anything that a bomb site garage is going to fix successfully.

Both! The car is off to the Honda garage to fix

I’m closing this as I have seen the other thread about it not engaging in D
