You need android auto on the phone, modern versions have it built in to the phone (or whatever apple needs if its an iphone) and android works best with a cable. Plug the phone in and prompts should appear to follow, otherwise go to phone settings, search for android auto, and connected devices.

If someone has a moment, could they please explain how to use online satnavs with the screen of my 2022 Crosstar?

Do you connect the mobile phone by Bluetooth, or do you need to use a cable?

My understanding if such matters is very basic.

Thanks.

Thanks.
My plan is to keep this car for a very long time. Now that I have had Honda's for many years I know their strong and weak points.
I plan to apply a ceramic paint coating to preserve the paint over the years and apply anti rust treatment like lanoguard under the chassis.

Thank you both for the ideas!

My photochromic lenses are definitely legal for driving (I checked!). It is true that they don’t darken as much inside the car as they do outside, but for me that is just enough to take the edge off the worst of the glare when I’m driving around sunrise/sunset. In full daylight I wear (polarised) prescription sunglasses, and at nighttime the photochromic lenses stay fully clear. I just wanted to avoid fiddling with multiple pairs of glasses while driving at sunrise/sunset, which is what I used to do before (I would wear one pair on my head and one over my eyes and swap them when needed).

When I got my last prescription, I asked about clip-on options first, and I was told there were no suitable options for me, as I can only wear a narrow range of frames (my head is quite small!)

I will definitely do a little more digging when I next need to update my prescription, though.

Just enjoy it; it is amazing to drive. Best automatic ever, the e:hev system.
I would recommend shutting the climate system off when parking, so that on the next restart the engine will be off and you can drive off on electricity alone. Turn it on once you are out of town or when the engine starts up. That saves a few mpg  :D

Good luck!

Hi everyone. I'm back in the club.
After driving a 2008 Jazz for many years and then a 2010 Civic, I'm coming back to the Jazz. I'm picking it up on Monday a 2023 facelift version advance. This is my first time owning a automatic gearbox.

Any tips or tricks?

Didn't I start a new topic here, in Off Topic (Non-Honda)?
And has it just vanished without a trace? Can anyone explain to me how that happened?
I was planning to keep interested people updated on our (future) new car here, but...

Strange... very strange... A post that was edited and re-posted on September 2nd has vanished without a trace...
Anyway, I can now report that the title of this topic has become a reality for us: yesterday, we reached an agreement with a buyer.
It’s someone who used to work at our former Honda dealership —now at Hyundai— so he knows our Jazz well (and can still access all the records... :o).
The agreed price is significantly higher than the trade-in offer from the BYD dealer, so we’re happy, and the buyer is happy too!
The Jazz will go to its new owner once our ORANGE Chinese arrives.

Re the Inster unfortunately Hyunda EV's have a known issue with the ICCU which leaves the car unable to charge. It can be fixed under warranty but there is a shortage of parts so the car can be off the road for a period of time. As far as I'm aware they haven't fixed it yet.

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Clicking noise when steering
« Last post by RomanianJazz on September 11, 2026, 02:14:04 PM »
Hello Jazz havers, I am running into an issue with 2021 Jazz EX. I have a clicking noise when steering the car with 'fervor' let's say, it doesn't reproduce when stationary. The sound is pretty much the same as the click that happens when I tap the break, like an actuating switch. I'll post a url with the video and let me know if anyone has any ideas.
Honda dealership told everything looks in order and shrugged. The car behaves as normal.
