My wife's GE driver seat has done this since she had it, I just have to pump it up a bit when I drive - her indoors does not seem to notice.

I have to pump up my seat periodically. Our old Rover was just the same. Problem is you do not notice it straight away as it is gradual. Lever alongside drivers seat just give it a couple of pulls and you are up and away!
