Rubber strips on roof
« on: October 10, 2017, 02:40:09 PM »
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew the purpose of the two rubber strips on the roof? I am looking at roof boxes and wondered if these strips concealed mounting points although I can find no mention anywhere of any type of mounting apart from the clamp type.
PS if anyone is selling a box and bars for a 2011 jazz let me know 😊

They are just to stop the rain running down the sides and to hide the seam.  Nothing significant under them, no clips or bracket points for roof bars.  AFAIK the only Jazz roof bars are the clamp into the door opening type like these pictured on my Mk1/GD.
