Hello,
My poor 57 reg Jazz wing mirror has been damaged (not by me!) and is now taped up, so I`m wondering can I get a re-conditioned one from a scrapyard and is it easy to fit or will I need to take it to a garage?
It`s electric, but doesn`t close- in totally.

I am no expert but AliExpress sell new mirrors, but I do not know the car versions or current prices of used or new mirrors. It's just something I noticed when browsing AliExpress

One from a breakers will be cheaper but until you fit it you really cannot tell if it is fully functioning.

Worth looking at used ones on ebay too, you should have a more than reasonable chance of finding one in colour. Not usually much difference in price to breakers these days, either.

Defiantly worth phoning around scrap yards. The mk1 jazz is old now and not worth much in 2nd hand parts. Yorkshire scrap yards are quite cheap and most will deliver. Just phone around loads and get prices. I managed to get a full rear door from a scrap yard in Penrith for £40. I collected it, and it had everything intact like the motor / window etc.
