Dealer sends car to Kwik Fit without asking permission
« on: April 04, 2011, 08:47:29 PM »
Not a Honda dealer but a VW dealer sent a car in for a service to Kwik Fit without seeking permission and still charged the customer (or rather the lease company) the full whack:

Unbelievable!

The real issue is the deception and the fact that the outsourcing was not undertaken correctly- shame on VW.
I remember the days when VW dealerships were few in number and run by mechanics and pals who sold Beetles imported from Dublin or from ex Forces, you could talk to the chap working on your car and all work carried out was on a schedule at a fixed price published by VW Motors of St John's Wood London.
Were did it all go wrong ?
