2003 Jazz radio fault

My radio shuts down when the car hits a pothole, it then starts a clicking noise every few seconds and will only reset after turning the ignition off, this is becoming a bit of a problem with the current state of the roads.

Anyone experienced this problem and know of a fix?

Sounds like a connection problem. You will need to get at the back of the radio to make sure all the connections are sound.
