Good Honda Mechanics in North West London?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a good and reasonably priced Honda specialist as I need my VTC Actuator replaced. I've called a few local garages and none of them seem to want to take it on as it's quite a specialist job but Honda want £800 just to replace it and said it may need other bits done as well. The part costs £165 so the rest must be labour!

Does anyone know of a good independent Honda mechanic in the North West London area that might be able to help please?

Hi - not sure if this will help (to you and/or others), but I'm in the home counties just north of London and recently started to look for a good independent Honda specialist for when my 5-year Honda service plan runs out.

The best I've found relatively close by is a company called 'Red-R Performance' in Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire, NN7 4PS (Tel: 07841 164108) (just off J16 of the M1 - 59 miles from J4 of the M1) - they are Honda specialists (web page below).
