Greetings! New Owner of 2008 1.2 Thriller...
« on: December 02, 2019, 07:42:11 PM »
Just moved to Germany...hoped for a commuter rockstar...found it for 1350 Euro with 200,000 kms.

After a spark plug change, 39 mpg (US type) is making me money!  Love the 5 speed trans and pedal relationship - allows me to keep up my heel/toe practice.

Adding Bilstein shocks and set of Eibach springs to freshen the suspension...got two young'ns to learn on this car.

They've replaced the brakes and bled the clutch and brake system...now works as advertised after removing the black gunk within the lines!

Having fun with 78 HP (my other car has 650...) - it is a jewel!

Welcome. The Jazz is a great little car and can be a pleasant driving experience. I am currently averaging 46 mpg US with mine. Take it you changed all eight plugs!

Jocko:  Thanks for the reply!

Affirm - all eight.  Quite surprised Honda swapped 8 of the valves for 4 extra spark plugs!  It runs like a sewing machine...

Just received front set of Bilstein struts, strut bearings, and Eibach lowering springs for a bit more firmness.  Should liven the ride a bit considering the original suspension is on the car.

Should be fun!

Got the good tires swapped onto the factory alloys (bought for 50 Euro!)...looks not bad - as any lowered car does:

19 12 22 Jazz Alloys Low

Still hitting 39 mpg - corners like a slot car...

I prefer your alloys to the usual SE spec ones found in the UK. I always liked fat spoked alloy wheels!

Me too - and much easier to keep clean. The ones on my Mk3 are a nightmare.

Thanks folks!

I was in doubt they were even a wheel on a Jazz...insisting I test fit them before purchase.  Nice looking...

Cleaning - can't agree with you more.
