Hi everyone,
Thought I'll re-do my thread with some progress I've made.
So, I purchased a GE6 Jazz 1.4ES in Cerulean Blue with OEM rear roof spolier in March 2009.
I thought the ride height was too high so decided to lower it with some Eibach springs. I had some Eibach on my EP3 Civic Type R and they were really good for my needs so that was my reason to stick with Eibach.

I was looking around the internet and found J's Racing had a really nice front lip spolier for their Jazz and looked into getting one. However, my research found that their lip spoiler were only for the GE8, and that it would not fit our GE6.
I was able to find a supplier in Singapore who did replica ones so went ahead and ordered it. I reckon its the only one in the UK

I have some recaro's from a Evo8 MR320 sitting in the garage since summer but been waiting for the Yen to get better before ordering some Bride RO seat rails to get these installed. Been waiting and waiting and in the end, decided to just bite the bullet and buy them and got them from Touge Distributions : http://www.tougedistribution.com/
They are currently coming over via container so wont arrive into the country til end of May. Was also looking at the J's Racing front strut bar and should have ordered that at the same time but didnt- but a few weeks later, i remembered one of my 2 year ficed rate bonds were maturing so thought s0d it and ordered the strut bar as well- but this wont arrive in the country til June.
Anyways, as I was on a spending spree, I thought I may as well carry on :-[ :D

Its the titanium gear knob from a DC2 Integra Type R which the previous owner had polished to give it the Spoon Titanium blue finish.
Its quite a heavy knob but its really transformed the gear change and theres a nice feel to it now- totally love it!

Clutch pedal seems slightly off so will see how I get on but most likely redo them when I get a chance. Heel and toe is pretty good fun now :P

Had a bit of a nightmare fitting the strut bar but got there in the end (1.5hrs!!!). Cornering is definitely more "planted" now so all good. However, my best mate (mechanic) who helped me fit this wasnt that impressed with it and tbh, its not really a point to point strut bar so will see how I get on with this as to whether to keep it or not.
Also tried to fit the recaros but encountered major problems taking the seat off the original (Evo) subframe so will have to wait a couple more weeks til we both have time off work to tackle it again.

I bought the K&N after reading about it from another member on the forum and thought I'd give it a try and managed to get it for £30-£35 after some forum discount on another forum that I'm on.
Slightly more induction noise as expected but not too loud, but have noticed slight more torque.

New addition are Mugen side skirts and rear lip bumper plus Spoon N1 backbox.
Was never too keen on the N1 on the EP3s but I "needed" a backbox to compliment the Mugen rear lip as it has an exhaust mould so it would look silly imo if there was no exhaust pipe coming out.
The N1 is what I remember it being on an EP3 so not sure if I like that much rumbling/noise and no doubt the missus will complain when we go out in it this weekend.

Didnt you think to get a rear diffuser beside that front lip?
( I think you did get front lip from Solomon brothers Singapore , they have 2 types of rear diffusers)..

Yes, I purchased the front lip from Solomon Brothers but I only got the front lip.
At the time of purchase, they didnt have the rear lip/diffuser- although they did have other types of (full) bodykits available.
I decided not to get the rear or side skirts mainly due to lack of finances and I thought I'd be fine with just the front lip. However, now that the lip is on, it does look like it would be better with the complete package ie side skirts and rear bumper/spoiler/diffuser.
Been looking at options but the only one I can see atm is to import them from (maybe) Solomons again but I'll be looking at around +£500 just for the parts and shipping and then I need to get the bodyshop to paint and fit them which I reckon will be around £200.
If there were a UK company that could do it, I'll be there in a shot!

Better turn in- feels more stable and "secure" cornering and can take roundabouts quicker :D
Yes, looking at bracing the rear- something like a thicker ARB or underbrace from Cusco. I've never been into C-pillar bars as dont want the bar in the way of the boot or whatever.
Also depends on finances etc so will be a slow build ;D

Hi Joe,
Cant really say for sure about the mpg with the K&N filter as I started a new job which involved longer distance travelling which helped the mpg.
See this post (http://clubjazz.org/forum/general-honda-discussion/shell-fuel-saver-vs-v-power/msg6268/#msg6268) for some info as I've been tracking my FuelSaver consumption.
As for performance, maybe its all in my head but I do feel its improved slightly and more torque, and slight increase in noise but I dont mind that coming from a modded EP3 Civic Type R ;D

Quick question, where did u source most of ur parts from?? Im about to buy myself a GD Sport and fancy playing around with the exterior a bit and getting some volks for it as well .... nice touch on the recaros...u sourced them from a breakers yard??

im guessing the bride seat rails must have cost loads!!! im looking to fit DC5 recaros into mine but seems a very expensive venture to pursue especially as this is my daily commuter 8)

obviously, the best solution is to pop down to their workshop and get them to fit the bodykit (or whatever parts you want) but realise this isnt practical due to location.
WOW- CE28N- thats well 8) How did you manage that one James? What size? condition? pics? Do you mind where you got them and price you paid? (PM if you prefer) They are well nice and proper JDM!!
As for me, I should be getting my hands on some Enkei NT03 15 x 7 ET 35 with Toyo T1R 205/50/15

The Bride rails were pretty expensive (crappy FX rate etc) but I couldnt see/find an alternative. I contacted Recaro UK, who referred me to Recaro Germany, and then they referred me to Recaro Japan, only to be told they dont have anything for the GE just yet. Tried other companies as well but hand no luck. So Bride it was!
As my previous car was a modded EP3 with the 30AE all red recaro, and I had that for 7.5yrs, I was so use to the recaros that it was such a shock going to the standard Jazz seat. Now that the recaros are in, I just feel so much more "at home". The Jazz is my daily drive and granted its not that fast (compared to my EP3), but with all my mods to date, I'm loving it as much as the EP3. DC5 recaros and Evo MR recaros are very similar, but you pay a very high premium for the Honda ones. Evo ones can be had for cheaper- thats what I did :)

Hey! Am glad i found another member interested in modding the Jazz! I am on FIT freaks but feel so foreign over there lol! The culture of the FIT over there is so different from our Jazz - shame we dont have the L15 packed in our ones =(
I used to drive a EK9 so was wrapped in recaros as well lol! so wanted that feeling back since i be using the car as a daily commuter...out of interest why did u 'downgrade'? think i need to go back to MLR forum to go find me some seats!! dont suppose in ur phone calls to recaro u asked if they have GD rails?? =P
I found the volks through a friend in hk! he owns a garage over there and sourced a set for me for approx £400 but they are second hand .. not too fussed with tyre cond but been told there are in good nick...yet to receive pictures but will post them too u once i receive them off my friend =) oh they are 16s
Love the enkeis!! friend in a GT4 use to have them same ones in gunmetal! cant go wrong =)

As you can see, the front sticks out slightly, mainly due to the fact that its ET35, so I'm sure if this is allowed for mot so will be popping into my local Honda dealer at lunchtime as they carry our my servicing and mot needs and i know the guys very well.

Just back from visiting my local Honda dealer.
The senior mechanic that does the MOT confirmed that the alloys/ tyres / bulge or whatever you want to call it, is fine and he has no problem passing it when the time comes
All I need to do now is sort out the alignment which is booked for Thursday.
He did suggest that if I wanted to reduce the gap, then to put the oem 175/65 tyres on so might try that when the time comes to change tyres, so will wait and see.
Yeah, I get to keep my wheels 8)

Last week I ordered a Dezent L http://www.performancealloys.com/wheel-details.aspx?ID=1362 (http://www.performancealloys.com/wheel-details.aspx?ID=1362) alloys (14x5.5 ET 35, 4x100) and arrived on Monday, tomorrow I`ll put the summer tyres on (175/65 R14 82T) and onto the car. Anyway I wanted my wheels a bit "out" so the ET35 will do it.
What product is recommended to keep the alloy clean I mean don`t let the break deposits to sit on? (wax, shield protection, wheel seal?)

As my wheels were newly refurbished, I put a couple layers of Jetseal, followed by 2 layers of Meguiars all metal polish, then another couple layers of Jetseal.
Wont be washing the car for another month or so so will be interested to see if my effort was worthwhile!

Just found out my local Honda dealership (Springfield Honda) are now authorised Mugen dealers so going to pop down to see the parts manager and see what they can do for me :P
Since my last post, I've bought another set of wheels- 16" Buddyclub P1 in gunmetal but havent fitted them yet.
Going to try these on and see which one I prefer and then sell the other set as the Mugen parts wont be cheap!

So.......
Been talking to a couple of my Honda dealer contacts and one from "down south" mentioned they will be adding the Mugen bodykits on a couple of their '12 Jazzes to make them look more sporty.
Be interesting to see how much they price the Mugen'd Jazz up as we all know Mugen arent cheap- looking at around £1,680+vat for the bodykit (front lip spoiler, side skirts and rear lip spoiler) and thats not even painted, plus another £560+vat for the rear wing spoiler (again unpainted) so you're talking easily +£3k for everything painted :o
Mine is currently with the garage for some work so will update my progress when I get the car back later this week :P

Yeah, the Mugen kit was canny expensive but I just had to get it to complete the look I was after.
The N1 was from a Honda dealer down south who also sell Spoon products and heard they had some N1 in stock including one for the GE6. They actually had this for a while so I told
Them I was really interested and asked if the could give me a discount and they kindly knocked some off from an already pretty good price so I thought s0d it and bought it as it would complete the rear with the Mugen lip bumper.
Actually looking for an N1 bung now as conscience of the noise, but it's def growing on me hehe

Nice motor gaz, it looks superb with that front spoiler... i don't know why honda dropped this colour, it was very popular and suits the car.... by the way, does the K&N make much difference with regards to MPG/Performance/Sound.. i had one fitted on my 03 civic and it did not make much difference, tho it sounded a little throatier on high revs...

Its taken some some (and expenses!!) to get it to this stage but I'm quite confident in saying its probs the one GE6 in the UK with a Mugen kit and this J's Racing lip- albeit replica

The K&N will be slightly different for your (GD) Jazz but they do have one for your version.

I got mine from these guys with some forum discount (different forum I'm on which they are traders)
Maybe drop them an email asking them to confirm which one you need for your Jazz- I'm sure they will be able to tell you for sure.
The guy that I dealt with is called Si who drives a red DC2- tell him I sent you his way and hopefully he will be able to sort you out.

I'm love the look of the front Lip.
Was it Spoon N1 back box that you purchased, or are you using the Spoon B pipe too?
I used to have a Spoon N1 system on my Civic, it's lots of money, but very very tasty...

Its just the Spoon N1 back box- not sure if Spoon did a B-pipe for the GE Jazz but I dont think I would want that anyways as its loud enough!
i think I have posted earlier in the thread that my previous was a modded EP3 CTR and I was never keen on the N1 system for that as it was too loud and didnt look right, but the N1 was the only think i could find and available in the UK to go with the bodykit and hence the purchase.

Only change was the alloys-
Oz Superleggeras 17" x 7, 4x100 ET 37 with Good year eagle F1 205/45/17
The arch gap is now where I want it to be but at the expense of added weight and boy do I feel it!!
Going to run with the Oz for a couple of weeks and see how badly my MPG suffer but considering I've already noticed the difference, I feel the NT03 will be back very soon and the Oz going for sale as much as the Superleggeras being one of my favourite wheels.

Hey Gaz- when you say the originals- do you mean the OEM or NT03?
I'm actually swaying towards putting the NT03 back on as I've noticed such a difference with the Oz :(

Sorry mate, i meant the OEM's these new wheels look the buisness, but not a massive amount of difference between them and the NT03's, if its affecting the drive and most of all the MPG, it may well be wise to switch back to them... maybe lower the car a tad to acheive the same look of these very smart alloys... ;)

Ah- i see.
The car has already been lowered and I dont want to do anymore to the spring/suspension so just going to have to live with the gap when I put the NT03 back on.
As I've already mentioned, I really love the look of the car now with the 17" and pretty perfect imo but not at the expense of mpg so just have to settle with the 15" although saying that, I still have a set of 16" that I could try lol ;D

If you like the wheels, why don't you just change the tyres?
It's the larger rolling radius that is causing your problems (slower acceleration etc).
The stock tyres on my Jazz with steel wheels were 175/65/14, so if you could change to 205/35/17 or 195/40/17 you would be almost spot on the correct size.

Cant believe its coming to 3 years already since I got the Jazz.
Took her into my local honda dealer for its 3rd year service and MOT earlier and happy to report not a single problem.
I had an advisory item:
"Offside (inner) front constant velocity joint gaiter damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt"
No idea what that is and they said it was nothing of concern so didnt think anything of it.
However, just got a call saying that my part has come in and ask me to come in and get it swapped over as they doing it under warrenty

I believe that's called a CV boot in some other terminology! :/ I failed the MOT equivalent we have over here in Ireland, called the NCT, because the boot was ripped! It's easily done I guess, the nasty roads we have over here!

Regards the mugen kit... we're open to a decent offer. We ordered it for a customer who unfortunately wrote his Jazz off before we had chance to fit it. So its just sat here doing nowt. We also have a lovely TRD kit for a Yaris :P

I did consider the part carbon Mugen side skirts but they were only available for the post 2011 GE :(
When I get it, it will replace what I currently have so that will go on sale ;D

how do you mean only the post 11 GE? doesnt the GE have the same side skirts all round as standard? and same bumpers? or did it get a facelift at some point too?

There are slight differences between the facelift GE and mine- I'm sure you will notice if you saw them side by side.

Main diff is probably the rear but I would have thought the side skirts would have been the same but we didnt want to chance it otherwise it would have been a VERY expensive mistake so just ordered the 09 skirts from Mugen

seems they have a very similar mugen replica kit on there major saving on the real mugen parts. (page 2 for the mugen rep kit for the 08/09 GE). Im sure they use to have more for the GE but seems its only that one kit now

I plan to, they have a very nice kit on there that would fit my 02 jazz finely id think (maybe need to replace the bumpers with 04 ones first though...but wouldnt have thought so.. as im sure they use the same bumpers just a matter of saving for the parts and a full respray(if i decide to get the car re-coloured). I found them by accident if im being honest though and have loved the look of the da kit since (need fog lights to complete the look too)

Only went for a quick spin round the block after install.
Initial feeling is that the thrrow is reduced slightly- most noticeable in 1st, and that each gear change in now much firmer and "clunky" that you know the gear has been engaged.
Will run with it and see how i get on

I would imagine that you need to remove the interior panel (on the inside of the rear hatch) to gain access to the screws holding the trim panel and rear H in position.
If its anything like my GD1, you will firstly need to prise the hand hold moulding out of the interior panel before pulling the panel off.
My interior panel was held on with pop in fixings. You may break one or two if you get a bit over zealous, but there are more than enough holding it on, lol.

I had a quick look before after changing the grill over and i took the small panel off where the hatch mechanism is but couldnt work out how to take the hand bold moulding part you've mentioned.

Yes- rear wing needed new holes.
I didn't realise that my oem rear spoiler was drilled in as I'd always thought it was just stuck on.
Installing the wing was more expensive than I'd thought- A LOT more but as it was the final piece of my jigsaw, I just had to do it.
My dealership just took car of the whole thing so took oem one off, filled the holes, painted the whole rear section where the wing would go ( to ensure perfect colour match throughout) and the fitted the mugen wing.
As Powerpig has already said, I don't even want to think about what I'd spent getting the car to where it's at today but it's easily £3k. Saying that, this is still cheaper than a brand new EX with leather etc that I saw in the showroom at something like £19k!!!
The main thing is I love it and that's all that matters ;D

It's easy to get the rear H badge off Gary (assuming GDs and GEs are the same in this respect).
No need to remove any interior trim.
Look between the hatch and opening handle you should see two silver pins sticking out. You need to snap them off using a flat headed screw driver, you might need to tap the screwdriver with a hammer but it will not take much force to break them off. Once both are broken you will be able to pull the badge off, just get your fingers under one edge and pull.

I've read and seen this method on fit freak but I want to reuse the badge so don't want to go down this route.
However, this is still an option as I've purchased a spate tail gate garnish but the plan was like Powerpig where he took off the rear garnish and simply stuck a red square vinyl and then replaced the badge.

So......
Since I had the Buddyclub short shifter installed, I havent been able to use the locking nut to position the DC2 gear knob properly.
Over the past couple of weeks, I have been able to tighten the knob so it now sit straight in the the numbers are all horizontal.
However, I managed to get my hands on the following:

I had one on my EP3 which I should have kept (along with a whole load of mods but I dont want to go there as I still feel a bit miffed lol)
Anyways, for some bizzare reason, I can actually feel the short shifting a lot better now with the Spoon knob but as you may gather from the pics, its slightly lower down which feels a bit weird for me atm but I'm sure I'll get use to it.

4th service and 2nd MOT carried out yesterday at my local Honda dealer.
My car lasted until then to get the brake pads changed after my track day at Croft back in July lol
However, needed front and rear brake pads changing but as the rear was very corroded (apparently), they recommend I change them so final bill came to £360 after discount.
Relatively cheaper than usual as I took out the 5 yr servicing plan but rough breakdown are as follows:
Front pads- £60
Rear disc and pads- £250
MOT - £35
Looking at the prices of the parts online, it looks inline so was relatively happy with the price from a main dealer.

Thought I'll re-do my thread with some progress I've made.
So, I purchased a GE6 Jazz 1.4ES in Cerulean Blue with OEM rear roof spolier in March 2009.
I thought the ride height was too high so decided to lower it with some Eibach springs. I had some Eibach on my EP3 Civic Type R and they were really good for my needs so that was my reason to stick with Eibach.

I was looking around the internet and found J's Racing had a really nice front lip spolier for their Jazz and looked into getting one. However, my research found that their lip spoiler were only for the GE8, and that it would not fit our GE6.
I was able to find a supplier in Singapore who did replica ones so went ahead and ordered it. I reckon its the only one in the UK

I have some recaro's from a Evo8 MR320 sitting in the garage since summer but been waiting for the Yen to get better before ordering some Bride RO seat rails to get these installed. Been waiting and waiting and in the end, decided to just bite the bullet and buy them and got them from Touge Distributions : http://www.tougedistribution.com/
They are currently coming over via container so wont arrive into the country til end of May. Was also looking at the J's Racing front strut bar and should have ordered that at the same time but didnt- but a few weeks later, i remembered one of my 2 year ficed rate bonds were maturing so thought s0d it and ordered the strut bar as well- but this wont arrive in the country til June.

Its the titanium gear knob from a DC2 Integra Type R which the previous owner had polished to give it the Spoon Titanium blue finish.
Its quite a heavy knob but its really transformed the gear change and theres a nice feel to it now- totally love it!

Had a bit of a nightmare fitting the strut bar but got there in the end (1.5hrs!!!). Cornering is definitely more "planted" now so all good. However, my best mate (mechanic) who helped me fit this wasnt that impressed with it and tbh, its not really a point to point strut bar so will see how I get on with this as to whether to keep it or not.
Also tried to fit the recaros but encountered major problems taking the seat off the original (Evo) subframe so will have to wait a couple more weeks til we both have time off work to tackle it again.

I bought the K&N after reading about it from another member on the forum and thought I'd give it a try and managed to get it for £30-£35 after some forum discount on another forum that I'm on.
Slightly more induction noise as expected but not too loud, but have noticed slight more torque.

New addition are Mugen side skirts and rear lip bumper plus Spoon N1 backbox.
Was never too keen on the N1 on the EP3s but I "needed" a backbox to compliment the Mugen rear lip as it has an exhaust mould so it would look silly imo if there was no exhaust pipe coming out.
The N1 is what I remember it being on an EP3 so not sure if I like that much rumbling/noise and no doubt the missus will complain when we go out in it this weekend.

I purchased the J's Racing front strut bar from Touge Distribution as per the thread but cant remember exactly how much it was as it was some time ago now but think it was about £150?
Actually- looking at some records I've kept, the strut and Bride rails totalled £250.
If you are interested in getting a strut bar, I can recommend Matt from Injection Import- think hes actually on the Commercial Forum as Matt@ Touge but its actually now Injection Import- I believe they bought the UK arm of Touge Distribution when things went pear shape

I also got my front and rear red "H" badge from him as well.
Yet to fit the rear yet as I dont want to just rip off the original but gaining access to that it really difficult so I might end up just ripping it off- probs do this towards Spring/ Summer when the weather improves.

erm.... I got a set of 15" Enkei NT03 in the end as per post #35 since Mar'11 lol
I ran some 17" Oz Superleggeras for 2 months before swapping back to the Enkei as the Oz affected the MPG too much for my liking

5th service and 3rd MOT carried out by my local honda dealer completed yesterday- happy to state that it flew past with no problems whatsoever 8)
As above, while they had the car, i asked them to install the Cusco rear arb

Had the 5 year service plan when i first got the car so all i had to pay was £35 for the MOT- they didnt charge me for fitting the ARB which was very nice of them!

Na- I'm not into tinting windows- although i would had preferred to get the privacy glass available on the EX models.
I do have the official Honda sun shades/ blinds for the rear of the car but havent installed them yet- had them (the blinds) for over 2 years now ::)

Excuse my ignorance, but what does an Electronic Throttle Controller do?

It's exactly what is says on the tin.
It controls the throttle responsiveness.
Have you driven a CRZ before? That has a Eco and Sports button which changes the responsiveness of the throttle/ gas pedal.
In SP/Sport mode, the throttle is more responsive in that a little squeeze of the pedal gives immediate response to the engine ; conversely, EC/Eco mode makes it less responsive and gives a more economical drive.

On closer inspection of your photo I see there are 3 modes: Eco, Sport & Normal. I knew the throttle was drive by wire and now I understand the ETC can change how the throttle responds to changes in gas pedal movement.

Side skirts were part of the mugen body kit that I'd purchased from my local honda dealer who were mugen dealers at the time.
Rear spoiler was just from eBay

I never intended to carry on modding mine as i thought its pretty much done but I still thought the arch gap was too much and wanted another 2-3cm drop. As I had already had Eibach springs, the only other option was getting coilovers and I'd been pretty much put off getting coils as i had them on my EP3 and didnt like them at all.
Anyways, theres a some number of us Jazz modders in this Whatsapp group (pm me if you want to join and i can add you into the group) and finally gave in and bought a set :o

I agree with the previous comment regarding speed humps, but-----it does look really good now ! If only Honda would make a more sporty looking Jazz, like this one, I'm sure they would sell a lot more.

Its more of a comestic more than practical thing- although i do take my Jazz on track so if there is any spillages, then the res cover /sock will absorb the fluid

whatever you do in life there are people queuing up to take money from you whether you are a golfer, fisherman, car enthusiast etc. etc. the thing you need to do is decide if hot water bottles for your car fluids are worth spending money on, some people seem to think so :-X Whatever makes you happy ;D

The company i used for the front lip doesnt seem to exist any more but it was Solomon Brothers from Singapore.
The mugen kit was from my local Honda dealer who were an authorised dealer at the time of purchase.
There will be many suppliers from Malaysia, Taiwan, HK etc who would sell you the kit but naturally the shipping will be expensive- usually the same amount as the kit itself!

Just going right back to the beginning of the thread and the K & N panel air filter. Would you recommend it and do you know if it would count as a mod for insurance purposes?

I have a K&N filter in my 1.4 GE and, frankly, I wouldn't spend the money on it. There is possibly a slight improvement in performance but only at high revs when the engine is sucking lots of air and if you don't rev your engine very highly during normal driving then don't bother. It has no effect on my fuel consumption. The K&N's other attribute is it's long life.
I cannot see an insurance company being bothered by fitting one.

As Vic said, the only real benefit of the K & N over oem is you can wash it and recharge it as oppose to getting the oem replaced every so often.
There is a slight better induction noise if you like that sort of thing and I declare all my mods but not sure what insurance company would say

So does the panel air filter give the induction noise
I've only found that the cone style ones change the noise

A slightly odd thing about the 1.4 GE is the position and design of the engine air intake.
It is immediately in front of the front passenger, under the bonnet of course. There is then a gap between the air intake and the air duct attached to the bonnet that runs to the front of the bonnet area.
The gap must be why, in my opinion, induction noise is quite loud. Wind the engine up to 6000 rpm and it really howls.

Enjoyed reading through your build. Looking for coilovers for my 2012 Si but only ones I can find in UK are Bilstein, did you import the Cusco's? If so can I ask where you sourced them?

Everything else was fine so total bill for MOT and battery was just over £98- £35 for MOT and £63 supplied and fitted battery so all is well.
I got a lovely CRV as courtesy car and was really nice!! 8)

I hope you find her a good home.
I think it's difficult selling a modified car is you don't get much return in your investment. I have been keeping eye on few modified GDs and almost all of them were listed for month or so.

Yeah, I've got it up for £6,500 and even then I think it's cheap but let's face it, who's gona pay that for a Jazz?
My valuation was based on a standard version of mine with simialr mileage and adding £1k for all the mods and bodykit and even then I've not had any interest although I haven't really actively tried

It's a Spoon N1 backbox purchased from Simon at Hendy Motorsports for £350 delivered iirc all those years ago.
However, you need to double check whether you need a GE6 N1 (like mine) or the GE8 N1 as I've heard the Si rear bumper is the same as what the Japanese get for their RS

Another year on already!
9th service and 5th MOT performed last week.
First time since I got the car that didn't have a service plan as I had planned to sell her last year.
Service was only £165, £35 for MOT, £10 for courtesy car insurance as I had to had both myself and the wife (normally I don't get charged for this). However, I was called later in the day to have my rear disc and pads changing so that added another £240 to the bill
Did less that 5k miles last year- car is just under 59k miles.
Been offered a 3 year service plan at £18 per month DD but I get fairly good discount with my dealership so I don't think theres much saving in doing the service plan.
At this rate, i'll just end up keeping the Jazz until it dies

It won't die (ditches & random drunks excluded). While costs are low there seems little point selling, hadn't planned to keep mine for 15 years, but when you've still got good tyres / brakes / battery / exhaust lifespan it's always 'one more year', then any replacements mean '3 more years'. Gear shifts into 1 & 2 were getting a bit notchy but fresh oil plus a Xado additive and it's back to normal. Plus there's no sign of a new Civic Tourer yet.

Considering all the mods I've done to get it to where its at, its still relatively cheap for what I want to sell the car at.
My target market is very limited/ niche so I doubt I'll be selling it any time soon. That said, should someone come along with my asking, I'll be sad to let her go but happy at the same time.
This Jazz is by far the longest I've ever owned any one vehicle (8 years and counting) and I'd never thought that would be the case, but its been pretty faultless so long may that continue

It's the only place I've seen a US sport Fit spec rear spoiler, the UK versions are a joke, I haven't seen that style anywhere in the UK

As you can see in my build, unfortunately you tend to pay top dollar as they isnt any UK companies stocking goods for our Jazz.
The front lip spoiler I bought was from Singapore and iirc, the part itself was only £150, but was another £150 for shipping then I got stung by customs for another £80, then paint and installation was £120
Yikes! Scary to think how much ive spent modding her to what she is today lol

At least you get a free usb cable with it
I dont think there would be much of an extra cost on that as its from china and normally items arent that bad when coming from there
